Jack Black Beard Lube Conditioning Shave Review

* Jack Black Beard Lube is a non-foaming shave cream.

* It has a feel like a hair conditioner, like a slick gel.

* It goes on clear, so you can see where you are shaving a lot easier than with traditional opaque varieties.

* Eucalyptus causes a tingling sensation that might be too much for those with sensitive skin.

* The shave is extremely smooth, with a similar feel as I normally only get when I use a pre-shave oil.

Summary:  I am a big fan of Jack Black lip balms, so I thought their shaving products would be worth a shot.  Beard Lube goes on really smoothly and the shave is quite smooth.  Skipping the pre-shave oil skips a step, and the lube doesn’t clog your razor like other products sometimes do.  Although it purports to combine pre-shave oil, shaving cream, and moisturizer in one product, I didn’t really feel the aftereffects of the moisturizer, so don’t be surprised if you aren’t able to skip the after-shave step of applying moisturizer.  The smell is subtle- but nice, almost like aromatherapy.  It disappears quickly after shaving, so it won’t interfere with any fragrances you put on afterwards.

Lili Bermuda Somers Fragrance Review

*  Somers starts sweet and woody – with licorice and cinnamon, sharpened by cedar.

*  The cedar burns off quickly, leaving cinnamon and licorice as the focus.

Kerosene Fields of Rubus Fragrance Review

* Fields of Rubus starts off smelling like expensive dark chocolate-covered raspberries with a hint of chewy patchouli.

* Rubus means blackberry in latin, and the scientific family rubus describes flowering plants of the rose family (including blackberries and raspberries).

Tom Ford Private Blend Cafe Rose Fragrance Review

* Cafe Rose starts off with pepper and hay surrounding a jammy rose.

* The pepper burns off quite quickly (less than 5 minutes) and the rose really shines.
